Rose Clark

Rose Lee Brooks Clark, 77 of Diana passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at her home. She was born August 8, 1944 in Diana to the late Oscar and Stella Carpenter Brooks and was a lifelong resident of Webster County.

She was Seventh Day Adventist and attended many churches in the area. She loved her kids, grandkids, and her entire family and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar in church.

Rose is survived by her husband Fred Clark; daughters Nancy (Albert) Brignac of Picayune, MS and Dalila (Andy) Miller of Webster Springs; daughter-in-law Amanda Clark of Diana; grandchildren Candace Downer, Caelleigh (Elmer) Gutierrez, Parker Clark, Renee Clark, Lucy Miller, and Charlie Miller; great-grandchild Gael Gutierrez; sisters Genevieve Hosey of Buckhannon, Annie Clark of Webster Springs, and Isalea Carr of Parsons; and numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends who will mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Freddie Clark; grandson Owen Clark; and brothers Carl Brooks, Harley Gene Brooks, Arley “Net” Brooks, and Jesse Brooks.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs. Funeral Services to celebrate Rose’s life will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Arlin Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Brooks Cemetery, Webster Springs.
