Alfred Ward

Alfred Ward passed away Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the age of 67 at Raleigh General Hospital.
He was born October 22, 1942 in Persinger, WV, to the late Sherman and Bercie Ward. He was a Baptist by faith, and a retired truck driver.
He was preceded into death by his parents, Sherman and Bercie Ward, and brothers Sherman Jr., Neely, Gene, Allen, Marlin, and Jesse Ward.
He is survived by his wife; Letha Peggy Ward of Webster Springs, brother; Chesla Ward of Muddlety, sisters; Martha Ward of Akron, OH, and Opal Myers and husband Albert also of Muddlety.
Friends will be received August 4, 2010 from 6pm to 9pm at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs. Services will be held August 5, 2010 at 2pm with Rev. Eddie Groves officiating. He will be laid to rest in Hamrick Cemetery in Webster Springs.
