Amanda Ritchie

Amanda Sue Hamrick Ritchie, 51 of Webster Springs passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born April 03, 1965 in Medina, Ohio to Harry and Lulabel Utt Hamrick. She enjoyed bingo, poker, and gambling and working at the Custard Stand as a cook and cashier. She loved her grandkids, cookouts, fires, and family gatherings. She was a people person and loved being around people. She loved spending money!

Amanda is survived by her parents; husband Robert Ritchie; children Shawna Pritt (husband Joseph) Lane, Larry (wife Victoria) Pritt, Justin (fiancé Kaitlyn) Pritt, and Tiffany Ritchie; brother Jerry (Christine) Hamrick; sisters Lisa (Wally) Price and Angie (Bryan) Norman; grandchildren Joey Lane, Abigail Cogar Pritt, Gabriel Pritt, Peyton Pritt, Timothy Grounds, Jane Grounds, Chelsea Pritt, Dylan Pritt, Anastasia Manahan, Elaina Pritt, and Emilyn Rowan; second husband Bobby Rucker; very special friends Angie and Dee Cowger, Alissa, Linsey, and Guy Cowger; and a host of friends, relatives, cousins, and co-workers. She was preceded in death by her first husband Chester Pritt.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Amanda’s life will be held at 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home. In following with Amanda’s wishes, cremation will take place following the Services.
