Andrea Clayton

Andrea Clayton of Webster Springs died Saturday December, 28, 2010 at the age of 67. Andrea was born May 12, 1943 in Buckhannon, WV, to the late Andrew Monahan and Virginia Fuller Monahan.

Andrea was a resident of Webster County for thirty five years and previously lived in Alaska, New York and Ohio. She was Baptist by faith, and a former member of the Humane Society. She was also a former member of the Red Hats Society and a former Girl Scout leader.

Andrea is survived by her husband; Floyd Clayton of Webster Springs, daughter; Sherry (James) Hall of Webster Springs, Step-daughter; Donna Mullen of Delaware, Adopted daughter; Susan Schrader of Cowen, and many others who called her mother. Andrea also had eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded into death by her parents; Andrew and Virginia Monahan, brother; Harold Monahan, and son; Jeffery Clayton.

Friends will be received Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 6pm-9pm at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs. Services will be held Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 2pm at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, with Rev Jack Cole, Rev. Keith Williams and Rev. Tim Scott officiating. Burial will follow at West Virginia Memorial Garden in Calvin, West Virginia.
