Bernard Douglas Stout, Jr., 49 of Webster Springs passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Webster County Memorial Hospital. He was born December 7, 1970 in Lorain, OH to Bernard Douglas Stout, Sr. and the late Barbara Ann Utt Stout.
Bub enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, music and was a crafter and outdoorsy person. He was a laborer in the logging industry.
He is survived by his father; wife Elizabeth Stout; children Barbara (Logan) Dial of Cleveland, OH, Destiny (companion Nathaniel Hayes) Stout of Fayetteville, Lance (companion Ryleigh McCoy) Stout of Buckhannon, and Michelle (Ethan) Cogar of Cowen; grandchildren Patrick Dial and Jon Cogar; brothers and sisters Lois Collis, Chris Stout, Louise Williams, Jeremiah Stout, and Barbara Green; a nephew who was more like a son, Dustin Williams; and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM with Rev. Clarence McCourt officiating. Interment will follow in Stout Cemetery, Grassy Creek Road, Webster Springs.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Dodd & Reed Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
