Betty Rockhold

Betty Marie Ware Rockhold, 85 of Diana passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Braxton County Memorial Hospital. She was born August 19, 1928 in Removal to Ola "Dink" and Maude Tiffner Ware and was a homemaker. She was a lifelong resident of Webster County and was Christian by faith. She was a member of the Guardian Union Mission Church; enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the birds and squirrels, and being outdoors.

Betty is survived by her sons Ralph (wife Annabelle) Rockhold of Diana, Alfred (wife Karen) Rockhold of Diana, and Russell (wife Nancy) Rockhold, Jr. of Calvin; grandchildren Holly (husband Jason) Miller of Calvin; Crystal (husband George) Brooks of Diana, Tim (wife Luchanne) Rockhold of Craigsville, and Rocky Rockhold of Diana; great-granddaughters Jocee and Kinley Miller and Gracie Rockhold; brothers Ed (wife Joann) Ware of Rock Cave, David (wife Marlene) Garvin of Canton, OH, and Randy (wife Burna) Garvin of Hacker Valley; sister Ruby Ware of Diana; brother-in-law Melvin McCoy; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Russell "Rocky" Rockhold; grandson Raymond Lee Rockhold; infant brothers Oren and Olen Ware; brother Homer Ware; and sisters Icie Harris, Irene McCoy, Myrtle McCoy, Laura Mae "Nippy" McIntosh, and Margie Ann Carpenter.

Friends may join the family for Graveside Services on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Cogar Cemetery, Guardian with Rev. Kenneth Pritt officiating. Family Services provided by Dodd & Reed Funeral Home.
