Carl Thomack

Carl John Thomack, 66 of Webster Springs passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at his home on Grassy Creek. He was born March 12, 1952 in Appleton, WI to Alfred Thomack and Carol Thomack Maloney.

Carl is survived by his wife Beverly Thomack; sons Chris (Sheila), Jon (Cindy), Dakota, and Michael (Melinda), all of Webster Springs, Blaine of PA, and Jeffrey of Lafayette, IN; daughters Tina (Nathan) of Carthage, NC and Autumn of Huntington; 14 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren; brothers Edward (Mary) of KY, Jerry (Pamela) of IN, Kevin (Lizabeth) of NC, John of WI, Michael of WI, Ted (Kathy) Maloney of CA, and John (Bren) Maloney of IN; sister Mary (Skip) Shaffer of CA; numerous nieces and nephews; and several other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Alfred Thomack; mother Carol Thomack Maloney; dad Robert Maloney; brothers Royal, Robert, and Kraig; and grandson Austin Hart.

Carl was a Veteran of the Marine Corp., Army, and the Indiana National Guard. He was a loving husband, father, poppa, uncle and friend.

He was a soldier first and foremost, a carpenter, mechanic, office manager, and truck driver. He loved to be busy, was a hard worker and was there to help anyone. Everyone loved Carl; he had a great sense of humor.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 PM. Military Honors will immediately follow.
