Charles Ray Sears, 66, of Hacker Valley, WV, died at his home on June 11, 2011. He was born in Glenville, WV, on April 11, 1945, son of the late Hampton & Lela Sears. He was a lifelong resident of Webster County, and a former mill worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and reading.
Charles is survived by his wife: Mary Lou Sears of Hacker Valley, WV, son Andy Ray (Amy) Sears of Buckhannon, WV, daughter: Jenny Lynn McCutchan (James) of Buckhannon, WV, grandson: Brett Sear of Philippi, WV, granddaughter: Amberlyn Sears of Philippi, sister: Margie Coleman of Jodie, WV, and brothers: Chester (Eppie) Sears of Diana, WV, and Clyde Delno (Hettie) Sears of Charleston, WV.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2011, at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, WV, with Rev. Jeff Swecker officiating. Burial will follow in the Cutlip Cemetery, Hacker Valley. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. til 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
