Christopher Lee Stout, 51, of Huntington, formerly of Webster Springs passed away on May 11, 2024. 

Born July 25, 1972 in Lorain, OH, he was the son of Bernard D. Stout, Sr. and the late Barbara Ann (Utt) Stout. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bernard Stout, Jr.; infant sister, Sara Stout; and his brother-in-law, Craig Williams.

Chris enjoyed being in the outdoors, specifically camping at Rock House on Williams River, hunting, fishing, and digging ramps; and he had two pet frogs, Missy and Toby.   He was very good at carpentry and construction.  Collecting coins, and other shiny neat things was a passion of his. Chris loved God and his family. 

In addition to his father, he is survived by his siblings: Lois Collis (husband, Leonard), Louise Williams, Jeremiah Stout, and Barbara Green (husband, Bruce); nieces and nephews: Brittany Dye (Chris), Barbara Dalton (Adam), Destiny Hayes (Nathaniel), Lance Stout (Ryleigh), Michelle Cogar (Ethan), Joshua Collis, Jordan Collis, Shayne Collis, Toby Willams (Kesha Barnhouse), Dustin Williams (Katie), Shayla Williams (Justin), Brielle Morland (Alex), Brennen Williams (Autumn), Alyssa Stout, Kadyn Green, Isaiah Green, Noah Green, Eden Green, Cillian Green; sister-in-law, Liz Stout; many special great-nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Services to celebrate Chris’ life will be held 12PM, Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Varney officiating.  Friends may join the family for visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Stout family cemetery in Grassy Creek.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
