David Anderson (AKA PAP), 82 years of age, left this world to be with Dess on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Webster Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
He was born April 15, 1942 to Alma and the late Paul Anderson of Hacker Valley.
David was a disabled/retired timber cutter that enjoyed his work. He spent the biggest part of his time cutting firewood and everyone knew his love for Ware Mountain Cemetery and keeping it clean.
David was an avid hunter, loved four-wheeler riding, his garden, the outdoors and running the trapline. Most of all he loved his family. He loved hunting because he knew all the boys would be home. He loved Sundays because the family would be home for dinner. Anyone who knew him knew he was a strong hard-working man. He was Christian by faith.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his mother Alma Anderson; sons: Wayne (Earlene) Anderson, Richard (Tammy) Anderson, Billy (Bernicia) Davis, and Jeffrey (Angie) Anderson; daughter Peggy (Ronald) Quinn; daughter-in-law Lynda Anderson; grandchildren: Adam Anderson, Michael (Erika) Anderson, Aaron (Alayna) Anderson, Ti (Elizabeth) Anderson, Keighan Chewnign, David Paul Anderson, Hunter Davis, Rylee Anderson, Mason Davis, Bailee Anderson, and Sammual Anderson; step-grandchildren: Tracy Chips, Randy Leggit, Danny Hornbeck, Mitch Leggit, and Jackie (Chris) Verton; great-grandchildren: Annabelle Grace, Cal, Leo, Owen, Ellie, Aurora, Brently, Randy, Hailey, Carly, Finely, Karus, Colton, and Oaklynn; brothers: Junior (Kathy) Anderson and Willard (Judy) Anderson; sisters: Carol (John) Williams, Clara Anderson, Donna (Leroy) Clutter, and Anita (David) Helmstadter; brother-in-law Sonny (Marilyn) Fisher; sisters-in-law Hazel Fisher, Donna Fisher, and Mabel Hamrick; uncle Olen Carpenter; aunt Margie Cutlip; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dessie “Dess” Fisher Anderson; son Thomas Paul Anderson; grandson Caleb Anderson; his father Paul Anderson; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Lester and Fanny Fisher.
