Dixon Cool

Dixon "Bud" Cool passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.  Bud was born and raised in Diana, WV and he completed his career as a teacher for the Webster County School System.  He taught and was a Principal in Diana, Hacker Valley and Upper Glade schools.  In his later years he lived in Charleston, WV.

He was the son of the late Emmit "Rab" Cool and Goldie Schrader Cool.  He is from a large family and is the brother of Bill, Peg, Pat, Sandra and Carol. He is also survived by his son David Cool of Orange Park, FL; four grandchildren Deana, Collin, Kyle, and Ryan; two great-grandchildren Logan and Saxon; and many other extended family and friends to mourn his passing.

Friends may join the family for a Celebration of Life Memorial at Diana Community Center, (Old Diana Elementary Gym), on Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.  The family would encourage you bring any photos and stories of Bud you would like to share. There will be a Potluck dinner so feel free to bring a dish and a story or two.
