Doris Cogar

Doris Ann Alkire Cogar, 65 of Webster Springs passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Webster County Memorial Hospital. She was born April 1, 1955 in Webster Springs to the late Frank and Orpha Clevenger Alkire and was a caregiver.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Cara Nicole Delp and brother Ralph Bankhead.

Doris is survived by her husband Raymond Cogar; children Kristal (Kurt) Delp of Mooresville, NC, April House of Webster Springs, and Ray (Tori) Cogar of Huntersville, NC: sister-in-law Carol Bankhead; dog Benji; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Services to celebrate Doris’ life will be held at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ty Farlow officiating.
