Earl McCourt

Earl Brice McCourt of Berlin Center, OH, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 at his residence at the age of 69. Earl was born February 25, 1941 in Webster Springs to the late Ora and Rosa McCourt.

Earl was a retiree of the GM plant in Ohio. He loved hunting, fishing, and vacationing in WV.

Along with his parents, Earl is preceded into death by one brother; Othie Lawrence, and one sister; Stella (McCourt) Green.

Earl will be greatly missed by his wife of 46 years; Judy (Hamrick) McCourt, one son; Kenneth (Laurie) McCourt, one daughter; Perditty McCourt, two brothers; Gary (Ella Jane) McCourt, and Windell McCourt, four grandchildren; Andrew, Stephanie, Jacob and Samantha McCourt and one great granddaughter; Hailey McCourt.

There will be a graveside service at Issac McCourt Cemetery on September 14, 2010 at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Sam Nichols officiating. Dodd & Reed Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
