Elizabeth L Trenter

Elizabeth Lavough Trenter, 88, of Webster Springs, passed away at her residence on Saturday, January 18, 2025.

Born August 6, 1936 in Elkins, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Ivy (Payne) Trenter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Oliver Mullins, Freddie Brooks, Albert Trenter, Trusty Trenter, Glenda Knight, Bernard Trenter, Dempsey Trenter, and her twin brother, John Henry Trenter.

She enjoyed watching TV and taking rides through town just to window shop. On days when she had appointments, she liked to stop at her favorite place to eat, The Hilltop Diner, in Cowen.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Beecher Trenter; sisters: Esta McElwain and Daisy Mae Haut; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends to mourn her passing.

In keeping with Elizabeth’s wishes, cremation will take place on no formal services will be held.
