Frances Stewart

Mrs. Frances Stewart, 83 of Diana passed away Thursday April 1, 2010 at the Webster County Memorial Hospital. She was born July 24, 1926 in Raymond City, WV to Regnall and Virginia (Kyle) Lipscomb. She lived the last seven years in Webster County after moving from Blue Creek. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles Stewart; brothers Bill, Jerry, and Charles Lipscomb; sisters Phyllis Gillespie and Inez Johnson and grandchildren Jacob and Justine Stewart. Frances will be missed by sons Reverend Charles "Reggie" (Marjorie) Stewart of Webster Springs, daughter Carolyn (Cecil) Roberts of Stafford, VA; brothers John (Madeline) Lipscomb of Campbell Creek; Richard (Gina) Lipscomb of Elkview; Joe (Mary) Lipscomb of Belva; sisters Margaret Day of MO; Maxine Cole of Elkview; Betty White of SC; Barbara Talley of TX; Rebecca (Darwin) Noble of VA and Paula Lipscomb of KY; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at Elk Hills Memorial Park Chapel, Big Chimney on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 11 AM with Reverend Fairley McCormick officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 10 AM to 11 AM also at the Elk Hills Memorial Park Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the Redeeming Grace Baptist Church Building Fund, Webster Springs.
