Gerald Lee Berger passed away Monday, September 1, 2010 at United Hospital Center in Clarksburg at the age of 75. Gerald was born January 31, 2010 in New Martinsville, WV to the late Frank Berger and Mary Edwards Berger.
Gerald was a retired contractor and a member of the Rock Cave Baptist Church. He enjoyed making crafts, woodworking and blacksmithing.
Gerald is preceded into death by his parents and son Matt Berger. Gerald is survived by his wife; Dolly Berger of Kanawha Head, son; Rick Sullivan of Canton, OH, daughters; Robin Williams of St. Petersburg, Fl, Kelly (Tim) Haymond of French Creek, Kay (Terry) Stipe of Kanawha Head, brothers; Bob (Pat) Berger, Ted (Faye) Berger, Norm (Kris) Berger, and Jim (Jenny) Berger all of Canton, OH. Gerald has seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Rock Cave Independent Baptist Church on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 2 p.m. with Pastor David Jessie officiating. Family asks that all donations go to the Rock Cave Independent Baptist Church at 3 Baptist Church Road, Rock Cave, WV 26234. Dodd & Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs is in charge of the arrangements.
