Jeannie Tharp Reed, 53 of Craigsville passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born March 22, 1962 in Webster Springs to Jack Lee and Shirley Jean Parker Tharp and was a homemaker. She loved to pick wildflowers and be on the go. She had a big heart and loved everyone; her favorite joy was spending time with her grandbabies.
Jeannie is survived by her father; husband William "Ashley" Reed; daughters Christy (James Stokley) Hall, Kandis Reed, and Jennifer (Johnny) Powers; brother Elvin (Heather) Tharp; sister Cindy (Jackie) Partin; sisters-in-law Trish (Clayton Curry) Reed and Mary (Scott) Reed; grandchildren Spencer Hall, Chiane Johnson, Anjalee Powers, Ashlyn-Lou Hall, Dakota Johnson, Levi Powers, Caden Stokley, and Chase Stokley; many nieces and nephews; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Jeannie's life will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Cowger officiating. Interment will follow in Harrison Cochran Cemetery.
