John F. Brewer, Sr., 69 of Webster Springs passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at his home. He was born May 10, 1945 in Suffern, New York to Harold and Laura Gleason Brewer and worked for the State of West Virginia. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the New York Fire Department for 35 years where he was also a First Responder.
John is survived by his wife Brenda Rose Brewer; son John Brewer, Jr.; daughter Laura Mae (husband Jess) Harrington; brother Harold (wife Darlene) Brewer; sister Phyllis "Sissy" (husband Ed) Vingoe; grandchildren Johnnie, Chloe, Skylar, Christopher, and Zachary; and mother-in-law Mary Rose-Snyder. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughters Angela Mae Brewer and Mary Beth Brewer.
Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date. Family Services provided by Dodd & Reed Funeral Home.
