John Bradley Scott “Red” Campbell, 38 of Charleston, formerly of Webster Springs and Lake Butler, FL, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017. He was born June 13, 1978 in Charleston and was a graduate of Webster County High School. John was a carpenter by trade and was a kind-hearted guy. He lived his life his way. He was a loving father and family man. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and camping. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
John is survived by his mother and step-father Kathryn (husband Allen) Boggs of Webster Springs; son Briar Scott Campbell of Bergoo; daughter Katelyn Campbell of Webster Springs; brothers Mike (wife Gina) Campbell of FL, Robert Campbell of SC, Benjamin (Jessica) Rogers of Morgantown, Cody (wife Jeffra) Rogers of FL, and Samuel Boggs of Webster Springs; sister Lucy Boggs of Webster Springs; grandmother Nellie Green of Webster Springs; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister Summer Danelle Smith.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate John’s life will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Curt Davis officiating. Interment will follow in West Virginia Memorial Gardens.
