Judy Lou Rogers

After receiving her angel wings Judy left her friends and family on August 24, 2024 at WVU Hospital Ruby Memorial. She was 73 years old.

She was born August 20, 1951 in Buckhannon to the late John and Nellie Cutlip Tanner.

Judy lived most of her life in Munford, Tennessee with her husband, Ray Rogers. After he passed away she returned to West Virginia to be near her family. She was the sweetest person with a beautiful smile. She was kind to everyone she met and loved by everyone she knew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Rogers and brothers Herold, Jody, Derold, Buddy, and Billy Tanner.

Left to cherish her memory are her twin sister, Trudy Ware of Charleston; sister Carolyn Rocco of Deland, FL; and many extended family and friends to mourn her passing.

In keeping with Judy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and her cremains will be laid to rest next to her husband in Rogers Cemetery in Munford, TN.
