Karen Sue Skidmore

Karen Sue Mollohan Skidmore, 75 of Webster Springs passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Beckley. She was born May 6, 1948 in Warren, Ohio to the late Hero Boggs Mollohan and Elizabeth Angstrom Mollohan.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting. She and Neeley helped with the Webster Springs Little League for 11 years and previously attended First Baptist Church of Webster Springs.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Neeley Skidmore; sister Pat Quinn; and one grandchild.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Matthew Skidmore (companion Karry) and Mary (Kurt) Long; grandchildren Howard, Linda, Sedena, Ellias, Charlie, and Serena; brother-in-law Joe Quinn; many nieces and nephews; and many other extended family and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral Services to celebrate Karen’s life will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 5:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs with Brother Rob Moffatt officiating . Friends may join the family for visitation two hours prior to service time, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home.
