Katrina M Jones

Katrina M. (Lynch) Jones, 70, of Webster Springs, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024. 

Born September 27, 1953, in Richwood, she was the daughter of the late Jennings Lynch and Josephine Carpenter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: Dorothy and Wayford Carpenter; siblings: Rodney, Johnny, Rick, Jeff “Frodie”, Veronica, and Kathy Lynch; and the father of her daughters and son, James Hayward McCourt.

Katrina enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, crabbing, and cooking. She loved animals, she even used to work on a chicken farm. She had worked all of her life, devoting herself to helping others as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Above all, she loved her family fiercely.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Shane Stoner (Amanda James), William Hayward McCourt, Hazel Lanham (Albert “Skipper”), and Dale Marie “Sis” Custin (Donnie); grandchildren: Cody, Ashkiea, Brandon, JW, Josie, Junior, Katie, Ronald, Ramsey, Christian, and Hayden; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings: Steven Lynch (Arlene), Donnie Lynch (Sharon), Regina Wilmoth (Bud), and Karen Lynch; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Services to celebrate Katrina’s life will be held1pm Monday, July 1, 2024 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs with Pastor Eddie Green officiating. Friends may join the family for visitation one hour prior to the funeral.
