Lloyd Hinkle Utt, 53 of Webster Springs passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston. He was born January 4, 1963 in Medina, Ohio to Boyd Lloyd and Loubirta Carol Green Utt and was a custodian at Webster Springs Elementary and worked for 15 years at Kraftmaid in Ohio. He attended Word of Life Fellowship Church in Diana and was a Christian by faith. He loved fishing, hunting and four-wheeling. He had a profound knowledge of the English language and loved telling jokes and spending quality time conversing with family, ya know.

In addition to his mother Carol, Hinkle is survived by his wife Leslie “Pete” Stout Utt; son Lloyd Hinkle Utt, Jr. of Stow, OH; daughters Mercedes Brown and Montana Brown of Webster Springs; brothers George (Debbie) Utt, Charles (Tammy) Utt, Dion (Mel) Utt, and Marty (Beth) Utt; sisters Charletta (Richard) McIe and Sheila (Bill) Carpenter; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles; father and mother-in-law Roger and Julia Stout and Larry and Mary Simmons and a grand puppy dog, Isabella.   He was preceded in death by his father and niece Sloann Mace.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Hinkle’s life will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Bender officiating. Interment will follow in Joe McCourt Cemetery, Webster Springs.
