Louise Tracy

Fern Louise Tracy, 85 of Webster Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 19, 2024 at her home with her children by her side.

She was born March 17, 1939 in Webster Springs to the late Rev. William W. and Angie Nettie Cochran Tracy.

She attended and was a member of Orndoff Community Church; enjoyed flower gardening, singing, and was a lifelong Christian. After she retired, she was a caretaker of her invalid mother and other family members and close friends. She liked to keep her lawn neatly trimmed, being outdoors, and fishing. She loved her cats and in her earlier years she enjoyed painting.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her brothers Roy Jack Tracy and Denver A. Tracy; and sisters Inez M. Life, Areta V. Parker, Winnifred N. Skidmore, Jewell A. McCourt, Norma Jean Knight, and Martha A. Cole.

Left to cherish her memory are her son Mike McCourt; daughter Lisa Hines; grandson Eric Hines; great-granddaughter Aria Hines; brother William W. Tracy, Jr.; sister Zana L. Freeman; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends to mourn her passing.

Memorial Graveside Services will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Harrison Cochran Cemetery, Grassy Creek, with Rev. Clarence McCourt officiating.
