Matthew Hanna

Matthew Lanty Hanna, 57 of Webster Springs, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Webster County Memorial Hospital. He was born February 26, 1961 in Webster Springs to Paul H. and Glenna Mae Goff Hanna and was a lifelong resident of Webster County.

Matthew is survived by his sister Charlotte (husband Milton) Tanner; brothers Paul William Hanna, James Hanna, and John Hanna; longtime companion Mary Nutter, her children Shelly and Niki; grandchildren Jacob and Danny; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Martha Catherine Hall; and brother Orval Wayne Hanna.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, August 31, 2018 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ty Farlow officiating. Interment will follow in Hanna Family Cemetery, Low Gap Road, Webster Springs.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, 155 McGraw Avenue, Webster Springs, WV 26288.
