Michael Ray McCourt

Michael Ray McCourt, 50, of Webster Springs passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024 at CAMC- General Division in Charleston.

Born July 15, 1974 in Buckhannon, he was the son of Connie Hines and the late Andy McCourt. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Joe McCourt.

Michael was a graduate of Webster County High School and had worked for Wal-Mart in Flatwoods for several years. He enjoyed being a homebody; but, would regularly be found at a car show admiring cars of all kinds. He like watching the NFL, especially his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. But, most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Connie Hines; brothers: Kevin (Kelly) McCourt, and Slader McCourt; sister, Candace McCourt; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends to mourn his passing.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
