Mildred Lee (Lough) Bright, 78, of Webster Springs, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Summersville Regional Medical Center.
Born on July 21, 1937, she was the daughter of the late James Grant and Elva (Ware) Lough.
Mildred was Pentecostal, by faith. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, working with upholstery, gardening and raising flowers; but, most of all, she loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Richard David Bright; children, Vickie (husband, Homer) Nicely of Oak Hill, Debra (husband, Darrell) Clutter and James “Rick” Bright, both of Webster Springs; grandchildren, Leigh Anne (husband, Todd) Lynch of Webster Springs, Andrea (husband, Josh) Hamrick of Canvas, Tish (husband, Jordan) Walker of Mt. Lookout and James Hamrick of Oak Hill; great-grandchildren, Lillian and Cameron Walker of Mt. Lookout; sisters Margie Lough of Webster Springs and Marie (husband, Dana) of Diana.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, with the Reverend Sam Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Grassy Creek.
Friends may join the family for visitation two hours prior to the funeral service, at the funeral home.
