Neta Wyne

Neta Lee Wyne, 97, of Elkins went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at the Barbour County Good Samaritan Center.

She had previously worked at the Webster Springs Hotel and loved cooking and cleaning. Even at her age, Neta lived independently at Elkins Manor for more than 20 years and would often be found deep cleaning her apartment. Due to a very brief illness she moved to the Barbour County Good Samaritan Center, hoping it was only temporary. Neta was Methodist, by faith.

Born October 18, 1922 in Webster Springs, she was the daughter of the late Erbon and Mazie (Gregory) Wyne.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Nada and Hyle Pool, Nina and Jerry Pool, Nola and Floyd Clevenger, and Nona Wyne.

Left to cherish her memory are her special friend and caregiver, whom she claimed as a daughter, Kathy Timmins; her special boy, Michael Depolo; special friend, Debra Depolo; Granny’s boys, Noah and Dakota Krupia; nephew, Oral (wife, Ronelda) Clevenger; and many other nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives to mourn her passing.

The family wishes to thank WV Hospice of Buckhannon for the wonderful, compassionate care given to Neta during her illness.

Services to celebrate  Neta’s life will be held 3PM, Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs, with Pastor Ty Farlow officiating.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Webster Springs.  Friends may join the family for visitation one hour prior to the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to WV Hospice of Buckhannon, 6 Hartman Plaza, Buckhannon, WV 26201.
