Porter Hall

Porter Hall of Point Mountain passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010 at his residence at the age of 88. Porter was born October, 3, 1922 to the late Emory Hall and Nettie Perkins Hall.
Porter was a WWII Veteran and a life long resident of Webster County. He was a Mormon of faith and a member of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints.
Porter was preceded in death by his parents; Emory Hall and Nettie Perkins Hall, one brother; Elzia Hall, and one sister; Genevieve Hall.
Porter is survived by his wife; Norma Hall of Point Mountain, daughter; Pamela (Rick) Clutter of Webster Springs, four brothers; Hinton Hall of Cherry Falls, Hansford Hall of St. Albans, Melvin Hall of Cowen, Elmon Hall of Webster Springs, and one sister; Maxine Clutter of Webster Springs. Porter had two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Friends will be received Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 5 pm- 8 pm at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs. Military Honors will be held at 8pm, and will be conducted by Addison McLaughlin VFW Post #3738 at 8pm.
