Denith Ralph Clevenger, 81, of Webster Springs went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 23, 2020 at Clay Health Care Center in Ivydale. He was born January 24, 1939 in Webster County to the late Onie Earl and Maggie Gathel Groves Clevenger and was a retired truck driver. He was Baptist by faith and attended Bergoo Baptist Church and Elk Valley Chapel. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Beaver Run Fish and Game Club.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Eubank Clevenger; son, Danny Clevenger; daughter, Janet Clevenger; brothers Robert, Delbert, Buster, Thomas Ferrell, Buddy Ray, Dickie, and Lloyd Clevenger; and sister Helena Dale Clevenger Cogar.
Ralph is survived by his wife Connie; children, Linda (David) Breitenstein, Ferrell (Sally) Clevenger, Brenda Hetterich, Barbara (David) Simmons, Shirley (David) Boteler, Onie (Katherine) Clevenger, Andy Moats, Samantha Moats, and Michelle Moats; grandchildren, Theresa, Dale, Steven, Freddy, Amy, Tracey, Dwayne, Brittany, Bradley, Becky, Deanna, Jacob, Jessica, Sam, Eric, Ricky, Bradley, Ashton, Andrea, Megan, and BreeAnna; several great-grandchildren; and many other extended friends and family who will mourn his passing.
Due to the restrictions on the funeral home during the COVID-19 outbreak, there will be a graveside service with military honors 12:00 pm, Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Hodam Creek Cemetery, Hacker Valley with Pastor Bennie Cowger and Rev. Kyle Hall officiating.
