Robert Cogar

Robert E.Cogar, 65, of West Salem OH, died suddenly March 27, 2010 at the Webster County Memorial Hospital. He was born July 8, 1944 to Noah and Lula (Hall)Cogar at Diana. He was the owner operator of Cogar Construction and was a police officer in West Salem, OH. He was a member of NRA and had traveled to many countries on hunting excursions. He is survivede by his wife Rosalie (McCourt) Cogar whom he married September 24, 1966; four children Lisa (William) Smith of Burbank, OH; Robert Cogar of Wooster,OH; Scott Cogar of Newport News, Va; and Rebecca Geitgey of West Samlem, OH; twelve grandchildren and one great grandson; three sisters: Hazel Lane of Ashland, OH; Geneva Riffle of Medina, Oh; and Bonnie Muehler of Moundsville, WV. He is preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters. Roberts funeral service will be held at the New Hope Church, Diana, on Friday April 2 at 11AM with Pastor Sam Gray officiating. Friends may gather with the family Thursday, April 1 from 6 to 9PM in the chapel of Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs.
