With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rodney Allen Carpenter on March 16, 2025, at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was 55 years old.
Rodney was born on November 13, 1969, in Medina, Ohio. A hardworking and determined man, he built a life around his passions and talents. He was a proud truck driver and owned his own trucking business for several years, embodying dedication and perseverance in all he did.
Beyond his work, he was a Christian by faith with a huge love for the Lord. Rodney had a larger-than-life personality that left a lasting impact on everyone he met. He had a gift for making people laugh, often coming up with funny songs and jokes that brought smiles to those around him. His sense of humor, quick wit, and kind heart made him truly unforgettable.
Rodney also had a deep love for the outdoors and spent much of his time hunting, working on cars and could fix anything no matter what it was. He cherished moments spent with friends, but above all, his greatest joy was being with his family.
Rodney leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

A time of remembrance will be held 7pm, Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, Webster Springs. Friends may join the family from 6-7pm, prior to the service.
