Roger Rexroad

Roger Rexroad of Hacker Valley passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Webster County Memorial Hospital. He was born April 26, 1944 in Bendertown, West Virginia, son of Kathleen Clark Pritt of Hacker Valley, and the late Weese Rexroad. He was a Seventh Day Adventist who loved to fish, hunt, listen to Blue Grass music, and anything to do with canning. He is preceded into death by his father; Weese Rexroad, sister; Dorothy Cowger, and three brothers; Richard and Wayne Rexroad and Chester Pritt. He is survived by his mother; Kathleen Pritt of Hacker Valley, WV, son; Ray Rexroad of Clay, WV, daughters; Kay Rexroad of Jumbo, WV, Fay Rexroad of Jerry's Run, WV, Linda Rexroad of Washington, and Rhonda Rexroad of Montana, brothers; Larry Rexroad of Jane Lew, WV, Jack Rexroad of Buckhannon, WV, and Bennie Rexroad of Jumbo, WV, one sister; Sandy Rexroad of Hacker Valley, WV, and four grandchildren. Friends will be received Saturday, July 3, 2010 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs. Services will be held Sunday, July 4, 2010 at 2 p.m. will Rev. Rick Cutright officiating. He will be laid to rest at Life Cemetery in Bendertown.
