Ruth Robinson

Ruth V. Robinson 85 of Cowen passed away April 24, 2010 in Summersville Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Skelt, WV on August 12, 1924 a daughter of the late Ora and Letha Lewis Robinson. Also preceding her in death was a granddaughter, Kiston Robinson. Ruth was a former waitress and a Baptist by faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Survivors include her sons, Johnny Robinson and Buddy Robinson both of Cowen; sister, Rella Stump of Hacker Valley; 9-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Service will be held Wednesday April 28, 2010 in Adams-Reed Funeral Home, Cowen, with Rev. Benny Cowger officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Cowen. Friends will be received Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 5:-8:PM at the funeral home.
