Ruth Tallant

Ruth Alice Tallant of Webster Springs passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010. She was born August 18, 1925 at Pte. Aux. Barques, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late John Oles and Vera Wagner Oles. She was a Protestant by faith and formerly lived in Hollywood, Florida. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded into death by her father; John Oles and mother; Vera Wagner Oles, daughter; Cheryl Foster, brother; John Oles, sister; Phyllis MacKinnon, first husband; Gordon Foster and second husband; Clint Tallant. She is survived by her son John Foster and wife Helen from Webster Springs, and sister Marion Armitage from Marathon, Flordia, three grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday July 5, 2010 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs. Services will be held the same day at 1 p.m. with Rev. Tom Kessler officiating.
