Summer Smith

Summer Danelle Smith, 34 of Fairmont passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015. She was born December 12, 1980 in Wheeling to Robert Smith and Kathryn Boggs. She was a graduate of LeJeune High School of Jacksonville, NC class of 1999.  She attended Glenville State College and Mountain State University.  She worked at Wells Fargo as a claims examiner in Charleston and recently moved to Fairmont to starting working at First Energy.

Summer is survived by her father Robert Smith of Charleston; mother Kathryn (husband Allen) Boggs of Webster Springs; children Jayda Smith and Dayton Myers; grandmother Nellie Green of Webster Springs; brothers Mike (wife Gina) Campbell, John Campbell, Robert Campbell, Benjamin Rogers, Cody (wife Jeffra) Rogers, and Samuel Boggs; sister Lucy Boggs; several nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, and friends.

She loved life, her children and family.  She has a way pf making people smile.  She has lived in many different areas in her short life and has made many friends.  She will be greatly missed by all.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday, December 6, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. Funeral Services to celebrate Summer’s life will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Curt Davs officiating. Interment will follow in West Virginia Memorial Gardens.
