Viola Bonner

Miss Viola O. Bonner, 94, of Webster Springs, WV passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010 in Cowen WV. Viola was born May 19, 1916 at Blue Spring, WV but spent her life in Webster County. She was a daughter of George and Esta Bonner. She attended the Point Mountain Methodist Church; loved gardening, caring for the farm and enjoyed being a seamstress. Viola is preceded in death by her parents; half-brother Weymouth Swecker; sister Portia Cogar and niece Barbara Cogar. She is survived by brother Parker Bonner of Webster Springs; nieces Opal Hamrick of Webster Springs, Evelyn Weeks of Medina, OH, Christine Weeks of Elyria OH and Deanna Zaballa of West Salem, OH; nephew Camden Cogar of Medina, Oh; great-great niece Samantha Frye of Wooster, OH; great nephews Tim Weeks and Tom Hamrick of Medina, OH and great-great nephew Cameron Frye of Wooster, OH. Friends may gather with the family Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM in the chapel of Dodd & Reed Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, June 4 at 2 PM also at Dodd & Reed with Reverend Jim Dyer officiating. Burial will be in the Point Mountain Cemetery.
