Willard Garvin Sr

Willard Garvin of Sutton, WV, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at the age of 86, at Braxton Health Care Center. Willard was born March 3, 1924 in Webster County to the late Samuel and Mary McCauley Garvin.
Willard formerly lived in Baltimore, MD, and worked as a maintenance worker at Norman & Stanley Real Estate.
Willard was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and eight sisters. He is survived by his wife; Clara Garvin, and son; Willard Garvin Jr. both of Sutton, WV, and one daughter; Clara Mae Garvin of Owings Mills, MD, five grand-children; Craig Jr., Timothy, Mark, Michael, and Mary. Willard also had 12 beloved great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 11 am to 1 pm. at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs. Services will be held at 1 pm. on Saturday, and burial will follow at Hacker Valley Cemetery. Dodd & Reed Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
